Remember The Times SWIPE:Paperback Each of the artists approachesOver the course of 2013 and 2014 sixteen people were interviewed about their experiences dating back to their childhoods growing up in the Caribbean and the factors that led to them to leave home for a new life in Britain in the 1950s and 1960s. They talked about the difficulties they faced settling in a new country, finding work and accommodation in Slough, the music they listened to and played, dances, excursions to the seaside, religion and faith.
