green and white and then cutting them up to melt into a pattern to melt and manipulate at high temperatures inside a stainless steel round mold as a dam to contain the glass

I then cut an interesting complementary circle of glass as the base to make an interesting background - this was fired in the kiln stretching the design together

Artistic Process: I designed the colors and structure of the glass and then manipulated the glass at high temperatures to swirl the colors into patterns for the floral background

The curved sculpture looks great on its own, in a window or as a candle screen with a candle behind it. Artistic Process: The glass was cut and put together in a design and fused together. The final firing was to form the glass into its curved shape with the bottom ground so it stands level and stable.
