Two Delrin platens keep the wire flat in the tool, while protecting even soft wire from marring and scratching. Two holes in one platen accommodate larger and smaller gauges of wire; one jaw pivots to fit the gauge of wire being formed, and then a set screw holds the jaw in place and parallel. The anti glare finish
