I personally prefer to use a short hooklink of around 2ft, of which I will whip a KD style knotless knot, with the hair long enough to ensure the hookbait is mounted tight to the shank
It can be fished painfully slowly or ripped across the water like a fleeing forage fish
Oh and if you travel, or are looking for something compact, the shaft can be split into three pieces, fitting into a bag thats just 37.5 inches (95 cm) when packed
Fit and finish are excellent, as I have come to expect from Galvan
Let the water undo the curlies for a few minutes, then reel the line back in, keeping some pressure when retrieving with the line between your thumb and index finger to keep the line tight on the reel
When you get to the fly line section you should apply a good few spays of a plastic conditioner like armarol onto some kitchen towel and wind the line through this or run it up and down the line
