I like to use about a 6- to 10-foot mono or fluorocarbon leader of the same 30-pound test as my running line, or even lighter, down to 20-pound test
So I'd say both are equally good depending on what type of fishing you do and what distance range you need
Because the levelwind doesnt move when you cast, you could end up with the line on one side, and the guide on the other, causing alot of stress on the line if you were to get bit in freespool.
Thats worth repeating: a lifetime warranty is difficult to find on beginner rigs, and since your first rod will likely get the hardest use, its worth prioritizing
17.75" L x 17.75" W x 35"H
Simple to Maintain : Because there aren't any moving parts, they basically last forever and don't need much care
