Dörrhandtag 1076 Basics d line has created FATIt was the architect Robert Mallet Stevens (1886 1945) who came up with the idea of dividing a round tube into two parts and joining the ends back together at right angles. His creation is now known as the "Frankfurt model". The handle was rediscovered in Frankfurt when the architecture museum there was rebuilt, and went on to take the market by storm.
