Phase 1 (Weeks 1 to 2): 0.25 mg subcutaneous injection once daily, morning on empty stomach Phase 2 (Weeks 3 to 6): Maintain 0.25 mg or increase to 0.5 mg based on response and tolerance Phase 3 (Weeks 7 to 8): Continue or begin taper depending on symptom improvement Maintenance: Consider cycling 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off for long-term management Oral dosing requires higher amounts to compensate for bioavailability differences
Feeding Instructions Give orally, on food once daily or as directed by your veterinarian
