Nagahama New Make Whisky lightly Peated ausverkauft the Torys brand is oneIn 2016, a new small whisky distillery opened in Nagahama and put this new pot (the pure distillate, not aged in wooden barrels) from the first distillation process on sale to buy old barrels. These bottlings were strictly limited and are already sold out in Japan. This new pot was bottled at a robust 59% ABV and, compared to the new make bottling, has a slight peaty flavor, as peated malt was used in the distillation.
